“The 41st Confartigianato Motori Award to the protagonists of Formula 1”

For the Confartigianato system, September opens with the historic Confartigianato Motori Award, now in its 41st edition. In the setting of the Monza racetrack, a temple of speed that is hosting this weekend the Italian Grand Prix of F1, the awards were presented today to champions and professionals from the world of Formula 1.
In total, there are ten awards for the 2023 edition, including one dedicated to “Technology and Environment” in collaboration with Parco Valle Lambro, as well as a special recognition for a company in the auto repair category associated with Apa Confartigianato Imprese Milano Monza e Brianza.
“Passion, tenacity, courage, commitment to achieve results: craftsmanship and Formula 1 share many aspects in common,” comments Marco Granelli, President of Confartigianato Imprese. “They are two worlds where the individual matters, with their innate talent, formidable will, and constant daily ‘training' that are enhanced by team spirit to achieve outstanding goals. This is the meaning of the Confartigianato Motori Award, which unites sports culture and quality production under the banner of working together, building networks, and creating a system.”

Team Principal of the Year: Andrea Stella (McLaren), awarded by Enrico Brambilla, secretary of Apa Confartigianato Imprese Milano Monza e Brianza
Rookie of the Year: Oscar Piastri (McLaren), awarded by Paolo Pilotto, Mayor of Monza, and Giovanni Barzaghi, President of Apa Confartigianato Imprese
Press Officer of the Year: McLaren – Sophie Ogg, awarded by Luca Santambrogio, President of the MB province
Sports Director of the Year: Diego Ioverno (Ferrari), awarded by Eugenio Massetti, President of Confartigianato Lombardia
